2016 London Election campaign trail news

3 April 2016

Fair Fairs. Sidcup: Greens will save you £2,398 by 2020, with our plan to flatten fares and make one zone for London by 2025.

In March, the 2016 London Mayoral and Assembly election campaign trail in Bexley was a busy one!

  • Wowed commuters at Sidcup station with an example (above) of how much they could save with Green Mayoral candidate Sian Berry's radical Fair Fares policy pledge which includes moving the London Borough of Bexley from Zones 4, 5 and 6 to Zone 1;
  • Held 'Meet Roisin' stalls in Erith and Sidcup town centres to give local residents an opportunity to chat with Roisin Robertson, Bexley and Bromley's London Assembly candidate, and Bexley Green Party volunteers.
  • Attended a meeting of Bexley Council to support residents in their dissaproval of the sell-off of several green spaces in Bexley.
  • Launched Green Mayoral candidate Sian Berry's Clean Air policy pledge at Bexley train station.

Find out how you can get involved with our activities. The more, the merrier (and the more London Assembly Members we can get on 5 May).
